Harmony Remotes - Programming

   I have just added a couple of favourite channels to my setup for my sattellite tv and now my harmony one will not let me update the remote.  The error that comes up says 'Satellite' tried to set a 'Channel' value using this operation 'SetChannel 501', but the 'Channel' either does not exist or only has one state'

This is wrong as the channel does exist and I have set it up previously. I tried removing the favourite for that channel and the error just changes to another channel. The only way to update is to remove all favourite channels from satellite activity.

As I said this has worked fine previously an still works fine for my regular tv favourites.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

First check that you have the correct method set for selecting channels.

Devices> Satellite> Advanced Setup> and several Next until you come to a page "How do you select channels....?".

Hi mal68,

Technical Support has now resolved that error for you. You should now be able to update your remote without encountering that error message.
