Re: Harmony One - "Send "Menu" Command to the device" not working

Thanks. I'll try experiment with your suggestions.

What you say is true; it's easy enough to send the menu command by pressing its button.  But then I'd never learn and something similar would surely come along in the future. Additonally, my wife is remote challenged so I want to keep it as simple as possible for her.

I did discover something else interesting. After the commands I listed in the previous message have run, if I press this activity button (Record Video) a second time,  the Zinwell Converter Menu pops up as I've been trying to make it do.  Maybe it has something to do with the actions I put under "Before the devices are turned off, leaving the Record Video Activity does the following:"

Device: Samsung TV - Action: "InputTv" command is sent to the Samsung TV

Samsung TV - Samsung TV is ser to "Channel"

Samsung TV - "Mute" command is sent to the Samsung TV

I'm out of town tomorrow for a week; visiting friends and family for Christmas. When I get back I'll let you know how I out with experimenting with your suggestions. Most importantly, Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Re: Harmony One - "Send "Menu" Command to the device" not working

Selecting the same Activity twice simply sends all the commands in the startup sequence again. If it works the second time then it should the first, so there's something odd going on! Do let us know how you get on after your return.

Thank you very much for your good wishes, and all the very best to you and yours.
