I've hit a wall with my layperson's technical prowess. Here's my equipment:
Samsung A550 Plasma TV
DirecTV HD/DVR
Sony Home Theatre System HT-CT100
Toshiba DVD Recorder D-RW2 (no hdmi port)
Roku Netflix Player N1000 (connected via wireless connection to my TrendNet TEW-633GR wireless router, which is connected to my desktop computer)
Harmony 550 Universal Remote
The HD/DVR and Roku are connected via HDMI to the Sony sound system; the DVD Recorder is connected via component video cables and standard audio cables directly to the TV; and HDMI and digital optical from the Sony system to the TV. First and foremost, do I have everything connected properly? Secondly, how do I program my 550 remote properly? Oh, and on top of it all, my husband has Sony wireless headphones that need to be connected properly, which I haven't been able to do successfully. Thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction!

Hi and welcome.
All you need to do with the Harmony is set up the four IR Devices, then take the manual option to set up Activities that combine them as you wish.
