Hi
Sorry to bring this thread back to life. I have 676 harmony remote and 722k receiver. I'm having small problem and I hope somebody can help me. I was being able to make my remote work after changing remote address of the dish remote to #1, but every time I turn on TV and 722k on I'm getting screen that my remote has not being configured properly. I have read somewhere that even though 20/21 dish remotes have one power button it is actually sends 2 different sequences(one for Power ON and different for Power Off). Can somebody confirm this?
Thanks

i can't confirm that, if that;'s all you're looking for.
if i was getting a message that my remote hadn't been configured properly, i'd probably re-install the software for the 722k.
can you still talk to Harmony, or is your 90 days up?
good luck..

The Dish remote sends a power toggle
The Dish remote can send power on/off commands if you like it to but not by default.
Press and hold the sat button till all mode lights flash
Press the power button
Volume up is now Power on
Volume down is Power off
The system set up screen is not caused by the Harmony but an outdated firmware from Dish
If you hold the power button on the Dish Receiver until it resets it will download a new firmware and the issue should be gone.

I think I already have the latest sw L6.55. I'm not always getting that screen. Any idea? I've also read that new Dish remotes do two way communication between remote and receiver.

The new remotes do have to way communications but it is for basic functions like if the remote batteries die the receiver stores all of your device codes. But it does nothing for controlling. That screen will come and go and has for me 2 times in 2 years.
