Well this is what I had before I tried a Logitec support call [Incident: 090124-002499]

Inputtuner switches to TV. WORKING FINE
Inputvideo1 switches to Video1. WORKING FINE
Inputvideo2 switches to Video2. WORKING FINE
Inputvideo3 switches to Video3. WORKING FINE
InputComponent switches between HD/DVD1 and HD/DVD2 and subsequent
press cycles between the two. OK WORKABLE but discrete would be
better.
Inputvideo4 DOES NOT WORK. I required HDMI1 to be set.
Inputvideo5 DOES NOT WORK. I Required HDMI2 to be set.
Inputvideo6 DOES NOT WORK. I Required HDMI3 to be set.
Inputvideo7 DOES NOT WORK. not required.
Inputvideo8 DOES NOT WORK. not required.
InputPC switches to PC

Then I tried a Logitec support call [Incident: 090124-002499]

And this is what I had after.

HDMI 1 switches to  HDMI1          WORKING FINE.
HDMI 2 switches to  HDMI2          WORKING FINE.
HDMI 3 switches to  HDMI3          WORKING FINE.
InputPC switches to PC               WORKING FINE.

So discrete codes are available for KDL-46W4500 TV at least.
