Hi, I have a harmony one, and among other devices a Denon AVR3808 receiver. Blimey, the database misses alot of keys which lessens functionality dramatically. Now I can learn my remote the commands as ofcourse I have the original remote, but I saw that the Denon AVR3806 has alot of keys in there that I need. Even better, there are some 'direct' codes, that work from anywhere, rather than from a specific menu. It even has some codes with nice functions my original remote doesn't even have, but they DO work on my receiver.
So I actually want to copy/merge those codes across to my 3808 settings. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance

... what a wonderful world this would be... if Logitech decided to have desired commands moved freely around devices! It's so annoying having your device list exhausted with an almost identical device for the sake of a -possibly- single command. Contact support for this an for that and therefore additionally **rant**, especially at weekends.
I think it's their inability to keep their database clean of these mergers.
Comforting as always

yes I agree, this is a very bad situation. Ofcourse it is unpossible for Logitech to maintain this list themselves, or to have it filled with just every device we throw at it. However not being able to 'borrow' working commands from other devices.... no-go Logitech...
offtopic: I have yet spended about 5 hours to get this thing programmed, mostly because of the uploading takes about 2 minutes every single time... is that normal?

... don't know much about normality, but sadly it's the same with me. On the other side 5 hours are approx. 100 downloads (taking the possibility of missing the accurate end in account )
Perhaps better being on a backbone? .. but don't think so.

Well I have a 20MBit dedicated line, and I don't really see that much traffic flowing through my router when I update the remote... Anyway, to end this all ontopic stuff, I'll find out which keys I need exactly and call support for it. Bummer, but if that's what it takes...

Gott mög' abhüten, was g'rad noch ein Glück ist! (cit. Tante Jolesch, Torberg?) translation with high effort because of extreme and tartly difficulty: May god save us from all that is just luck! E.g.: avoiding the "just luck" of a broken leg, because it could have been the neck!
So enjoy the " just luck" of contacting the support, it may be stopped!
Especially humble this time

The saying is tart, indeed, but surely any difficulty was less so?
I place little trust in literal Gluck, but musical Gluck deserves more attention.
He even has a vague relevance, in his interest in the Underworld - not all that far from Purgatory.
Nothing to be humble about that I can see.
