Anyone have the new Onkyo TX-SR608 and is going to be updating the harmony database with the latest info anytime soon? The information downloaded is way off.

Yes, the 608 is all wrong - Logitech support know about it.
Set up the 607 instead - it works perfectly and is almost certainly right for the 608.

The TX-SR608 is ALMOST functional on the harmony one using the 607's download. However, I cannot get the One to use the receiver volume for the 'Watch TV' activity. I have to constantly switch over to devices and adjust the volume and then back to my current activity. Very annoying. Please Please Please Logitech, get your database updated with the 608's information ASAP and post to this forum that it has been updated when complete!
And yes, I've gone through the setup 3 or 4 times to try and get it to accept adjusting the volume on the receiver in the watch tv activity setup and i click the onkyo radio button EVERY time and it still changes my tv volume instead upon completion. No idea why. If anyone can get me a detailed workaround for this I'd be eternally grateful.
Thanks!

If the volume commands work in Devices, then they should work in Activities, for your Activity, click on Customize Buttons, and check that the correct device is assigned to the volume biuttons.

Welcome to the forum bisquik and thanks for confirming that the 607's database entry is valid for the 608.
That should be helpful for other users, and I do hope that Logitech will implement it now without further delay.
The problem you're having with the volume control is not related to the Onkyo's database entry.
If the volume and mute buttons do not appear at Activities> Customise Buttons as being assigned to the Onkyo then the setup of the Activities was wrong in some respect.
You can of course correct a wrong assignment there as rhachey explains, but the setup does need to be correct.

Hey guys, thanks for the tip on the customization. It fixed my volume issue completely. As I said, I went through the set up multiple times and it was always pegged to use the AVR for the volume. Not sure why it wouldn't do what it was set to do.
As for the 607 download for use on the 608... I don't want to imply that it is perfect. It is functional for basic operation but a full download for the 608 is still needed.
Thanks for the fix though!

It would be helpful if you would let us know which of the 607's commands do not work on the 608, and which of the 608's do not have equivalents on the 607.
Have you "learned" the missing commands?

You can add my name to those clamoring for Onkyo correct TX-SR608 database. Meanwhile, has anyone had success with "Zone 2" commands. The remote refuses to learn this command for some reason and the 607/608 database doesn't have equivalent. Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

You'd need to be careful when "learning" zone 2 commands as you have to press the Zone 2 button on the original remote and then the required button within a limited time.
