Harmony Remotes - Programming

Everything with this remote is working great except the Playstation 3 turns on when I press the Power Off button on the Harmony remote. I sometimes download games or movies in the background on the PS3 so I set the "Watch TV" activity to leave the PS3 alone so it doesn't interrupt my downloads. However, now when I turn my system off (in the Watch TV Activity) it powers up my PS3. It's obviously not a serious problem, but still somewhat irritating. Anyone have any ideas what I've done wrong?

As you "set the "Watch TV" activity to leave the PS3 alone" shouldn't it be on already?

How did you make that setting?

Thanks for the response. Re-reading my post I realize it wasn't very clear. Let me try to clarify.

When I am watching TV and not using the PS3 I am experiencing this problem. My TV is on, my cable box is on, my receiver is on and my PS3 is off. I press the power off button on the Harmony remote and the TV, receiver and cable box turn off like I want them to. But, the PS3 turns on. I can manually turn the PS3 back off with the Harmony remote, but I shouldn't have to, right?

To answer your question about the PS3 setting - When I first set up my activities, swapping to "Watch TV" automatically turned off the PS3, which I don't want to happen for the reasons I mention in the first post. So I added the PS3 as a device to the TV Activity and then selected the option to "Leave On" unused devices (the PS3).

Is it possible that this setting is what is creating the conflict? Shouldn't the TV Activity being set this way effectively ignore the PS3?

Thanks for the further details.

The option that an Activity "leaves unused devices on" does not require the device to be included - why did you add yours?

It would be helpful if you would list the startup procedures for each of your activities.

They're shown at Activities> Settings> Review Settings.
