I have an elderly Philips LCD TV with internal FM radio. The remote is a logitech 515.
The TV has the following source buttons
PC, TV, HD, RADIO
And the following external inputs. Acessed in the following order only when TV is selected.
TV, AV1, AV2, CVI, AV3
Question is my digital TV settop box is connected to AV3 on the tv and PVR set to AV2 on the tv.
If the TV remains on the last input it was on when turned off or when radio, pc or hd is selected, how does the Logitech remote work out how many time it needs to send Input Next to access the correct tv input?
I have successfully programmed an activity called watch tv tha will turn on the STB, select TV, change to channel on analogue tuner. Then select Input Next 4 times to select AV3.
I now want to program another activity called watch PVR which uses the same method as the STB to select the appropriate av input on the TV.. However the only available option is watch tv (PVR). I select that but on the next step I get
What input or channel does your Philips TV need to be on?
Here I need to choose TV, then Input Next, however there is nolonger an option for select TV. When It was available when the STB was setup, since tv is not an ecternal input but a button that needs to be pressed before I can access the external inputs.
Please if anybody can help me work all this out I would be greatly appreciated.
