Power On/Off problems with my TV

I am trying to setup my 1000 again, as have just introduced a PS3, however frustratingly I have been able to get the PS3 to work but now my TV is the problem. I have tried both the Power Toggle and the seperate Power On and Off commands and nothing works. None of my activities turn power on or off to the TV.  Though the red light does flicker briefly to show it has received something.

My TV is a Panasonic TH-42PX70.

When I go into devices and use the buttons for Toggle, On and Off it works. Just not when in an activity.  I have tried changing the speed settings to no avail, and also the power on sequence, it's very strange as when I last configured back in September it worked fine. Will teach me to have deleted it all and started again.

Any help very much appreciated, it's driving me mad.  :smileyhappy:

Re: Power On/Off problems with my TV

Try increasing the Interdevice delay for the TV.  I had the same problem with my Philips TV and DirecTV receiver.  The DirecTV receiver would turn on and the TV would receive a brief signal but would not turn on until I increased the Interdevice delay for the TV to 2500ms.  Now everything woks perfectly.

Tried that already, to no avail sadly.  Many thanks for taking the time to reply though.  :smileyhappy:

Any other ideas out there?

Re: Power On/Off problems with my TV

Panasonics are notorious for needing their power commands to have a duration - like keeping the button pressed on the original remote.

For some models the option is already in the database, and for those that don't have it Logi support will provide it by return of e-mail.

Re: Power On/Off problems with my TV

It's now working, deleted the device and re-added. All fine, very strange, seeing the settings are all the same.

Thanks for the assistance!  :smileyhappy:

Re: Power On/Off problems with my TV

OK - It may have automatically selected the correct duration this time.
