@ciper
Many thanks for your help. I've tried the tv you suggested, but get the same results as the original device type.
It looks like there is no descrete code for HDMI for the kdl-nnS3000 series, although Sony still refuse to confirm this.
@hhatkin
I'm able to select HDMI using a sequence of commands on the harmony one. I had to adjust some of the timing values to get it to work.
I was hoping for a simpler solution as the harmony is for my mum. She is not getting any younger, and selecting inputs is a bit foreign to her - especially if the sequence happens to miss a command.

Hi everybody,
if the only problem is to go to Hdmi 1 and that the others input commands are working fine, maybe you can create a sequence on your Harmony One and place it at the begining of the activity you need to. This way your mother will never need to change the inputs herself as Harmony is designed to do it for you.
Hope this helps.

Probably an obvious question, but if I change the "waiting time between button presses" on an Activity (play DVD say), does the change also effect the TV Device it refers to? Or, to put it another way, is my "Play TV" activity affected as well?

If that's the Inter-Key delay then you specify it in Devices and it applies in any activity that includes that device.
For the main input problem could you list from Devices> TV> Settings> Adjust Inputs> Method 2 the Input Names and the Commands assigned to them, with notes of which do and do not work?

The reasonj for the question about delays is that you can change them in Activities or Devices and I wondered if a change via Activity actually altered the Device and therefore all other Activities which use that Device.
Inputes on the KDL-26S3000.......
TV
AV1 InputVideo1 => AV1
AV2 InputVideo2 => AV2
AV3 InputVideo3 => AV3
AV4 Input Hdmi1 => Analogue
AV5 InputHdmi2 => nothing
AV6 InputComponent1 => AV6
PC InputPC => nothing
InputNext => Menu with current Input Highlighted
SEQUENCE "InputVideo3, InputNext, DirectionDown, Select" gets me to HDMI1.

Delays can only be set in Devices, there are no delay settings in Activities, other than adding additional commands to the start or ending of an Activity, where delays can be added between the additional commands that were added.

You can go to "Activities" then troubleshoot and then select a device where you can change the delays.
I guess this is the same as starting with "Devices"??

Thanks for the list.
Your sequence for that missing input is ingenious.
Logitech support might be able to combine the commands into one new Input command..
So, are there any inputs that you still don't have?
The Troubleshoot isn't part of either Activities or Devices, and can take you to the settings for either, depending on the type of problem.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies - the only external input we need is hdmi1. AV1,2,3 work ok and are the only other ones which would ever get used.
I've just tried setting up a sequence for HDMI1 which I can map to a button ok, but is there a way of associating it directly with AV4 on the tv device?
