Satellite box

when I enter my satellite receiver ( Motorola DSR-505) I get a message that I still need to add a device that changes channels. This satellite receiver does change channels. I can't program my harmony 880 to control watching tv since it doesnt think I have the proper devices entered

Re: Satellite box

delete your activity and reset it up, when asked auto or manual select manual.

Re: Satellite box

deleting the activity and trying again didn't help. Had to reset the whole thing, make it think it was a brand new remote. Finally got it done

Re: Satellite box

Good to hear you got it done.

For anyone else with this problem, be sure to select the correct type of device when setting it up - as well as selecting only the manual Activity setup.
