when I enter my satellite receiver ( Motorola DSR-505) I get a message that I still need to add a device that changes channels. This satellite receiver does change channels. I can't program my harmony 880 to control watching tv since it doesnt think I have the proper devices entered

delete your activity and reset it up, when asked auto or manual select manual.

deleting the activity and trying again didn't help. Had to reset the whole thing, make it think it was a brand new remote. Finally got it done

Good to hear you got it done.
For anyone else with this problem, be sure to select the correct type of device when setting it up - as well as selecting only the manual Activity setup.
