I recently bought a Harmony One. It works flawlessly under every circumstance up to this point except for one. When starting an Activity with all of the equipment off, the TV always ends up one input short. (Front Panel, rather than the required input Component 1).
I have been able to get this to work by adjusting the delays, however this requires that I keep the remote pointed at the TV for a minimum of 25 seconds. I'm not really feeling that.
When the TV starts, it always starts on the last input that was used (and in my case, the only input that I am using). Is there a way that I can set the Activity to power on the TV, but not cycle through the inputs?

Hi,
take a look inside the deviice if there are direkt-input-commands (they beginn with "Input...").
If you have them for all needed inputs, first test if all commands work well. If they do so, change to input-methode 2.
Am i right, you only use one Input on your TV?
If so, you could remove all other inputs, so only the one you use is left.

Yes, reduce the list of Input Names to one entry, and assign to that the command "none".

First, I'd just like to say that your (TheWolfDe) typed english is quite readable. Much better than the typed english of many people, even those whose native language is english.
There is only one input button on the original remote, and requires only one press to cycle to each input in order.
I will try deleteing all of the other inputs on the list, and see if that works.

hhatkin, what did you mean by assigning it the command 'none'?
Fantastic. Now when I make changes to my remote's programming, and then update the remote, it appears that nothing changes on the remote. /rant

The best way of handling the input setup for a TV that is only using one input and to not have it try to set the input each time you either start an Activity or change Activities, is to set your remote to use Method 1 for input selection, then on the next page reduce th list of inputs to only the3 one that you need to use

At Adjust Power "none" is an entry in the dropdown list of Commands that you assign to Input Names.
Yes, if the default Method is one that cycles then reducing the Names List to one entry does the same thing.

Thank you everyone for your help. I don't know what was going wrong, but I deleted all of my devices and activities, and reset everything to default. Started from scratch so to speak, and now everything seems to be working fine, TV included.
