Harmony Remotes - Programming

Hi Guys,
I have a logitech harmony 895 - works great
but i've recently put together a media center PC
i have the PC cabled by hdmi to the samsung TV
picture looks great

but how do i get the 895 to control the PC so i can switch between boxee or WMP or media monkey or itunes or whatever?

do i need to buy another remote - specifically a "media center" remote like the snapstream firefly (which will come with it's own usb IR reciever) and basically clone everything it does on the 895?

if this is the way to go any recommendations on MCPC remotes?

or is there another option?

You need a USB IR Dongle.  See this link to set it up

but how do i make the harmony control the PC (it's a kobalt custom build)

are there standard commands for windows ?

where can i find them?

Follow the instructions in the link I supplied to setup your Media Center PC, when you purchase a USB IR dongle it will come with a remote.  You can always learn commands from the remote if needed, but this should not be necessary
