7.5.0 Setup on Vista Fails

When I try to upgrade from 7.2.10 to 7.5.0, during the install, I get the follow error: "CRC error: The file c:\Program Files\Common Files\Remote Control Software Common\jre\bin\client\clasec84.rra doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor."  Abort / Retry / Ignore I still get the same error with Retry.  Ignore does allow the install to continue, but similar errors appear with other files.

I am having problems getting my 890 to sync with my wireless extender, so I am hoping the upgrade to 7.5.0 will help.  Otherwise I would just stick with the older version.

Re: 7.5.0 Setup on Vista Fails

As the workflow to update and pair the remote & extender has change you will need to be using 7.5 to get everything working successfully.

Aside from trying to run it in "XP compatibility mode", try totally uninstalling version 7.2, and download & install the full 7.5 release rather than trying to auto-patch up.

You can find the newest version at;
