After update to 7.5, sign in and get "Unable to display content"

Took the automatic update, signed in to my existing account, get registration screens with my user info, press next and then get "Unable to read content" and upon pressing "Next" the registraiton cycle restarts.  I'm stuck.  Ideas please.  Thanks in advance.

call tech support.

this is a generic error and can mean many things...you'll have to call them to get an exact cause

Try another LoginID.  Most likely if it's a new account creation it may be due to the LoginID already used 1 time in the past for a "Test Drive" account.

If a different LoginID causes the same error, I would contact support.

Re: After update to 7.5, sign in and get "Unable to display content"

For the record, I just got a harmonay 890 and got this exact problem the first time I tried to use the software. I isntalled the software off the CD (v6.0) and then after setting my login I was told that the software was no longer supported. I downloaded the new version (7.5) and logged in and got the "Unable to display content error" as well. It was not until I set up an new accont was I even able to begin using my new remote. It seems pretty clear to me that accounts set up with v 6.0 software don't work with 7.5. You probably make that clear in these forums somewhere. I never used the software at all and it immediate got to a non working state and sticky topics did NOT help at all. I imagine this is probably the experience anyone will have if they make the mistake of installing from the CD.

This definitely was not a great first impression of this product!
