Harmony Remotes - Software/Firmware

I have had a RightSound Logitech for more than a year. I have recently had computer trouble and now seem to have Windows XP, when I try to connect to a video/voice call it says it cannot as other user does not have this same application.  I read the help section in Windows Messenger and it says if other user does not have XP it will not connect?  Is this true?  I did install a new version of Windows Messenger but that doesn't help.

Please any thoughts our solutions.....
