DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

Do not update your remote, there are a lot of problems with the latest version.

My 895 is worthless at this moment.
I can't normally work with it.

If you want to read what, then look at the following link:

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

Is it possible it could have something to do with this aswell.

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

I had that "null exception" error too. I reran the set-up for one of my devices and that error disappeared. Now if only I could solve my "double button pressing" issue.....

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

I too updated my remote before it was too late! I found a temporary workaround  but not fully depressing the button and it's only sending one command the majority of the time. If I fully press down on the buttons it repeats the commands. It's definitely not a solution, but I'm able to work this way for a day or 2 until there is a solution. Next time I'll check the forums before update my remote. Good lord................... :smileymad:

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

Dragged out my four remotes. They still work thank goodness.

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

Hey, i wonder if my problem is related to this. Basically my remote has been working perfectly for about a month now, i haven't update the remote recently (unless it updates without you knowing when u connect the remote to the program) . Basically my remote repeats all commands 2 times today. I try navigating a menu on my dvd player and it keeps jumping 2 spots with 1 button press. I tried ejecting a cd, and it would close and open with one button press. Some buttons like the play button, does not work anymore.. It worked yesterday but somehow it stopped working today

Re: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR REMOTE

That's what my remote is doing right now as well. It **bleep** bad because my entire HT is used with this remote. I've had to go out and buy batteries for my old remotes!!!!!

I hope that this is rectified and soon.
