FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

Hi - Does anyone know what is happening in making us able to have the 'Favourite Channels' screen the entry screen after selecting WATCH TV? The current entry screen is the numbers screen and I never use that. Sure, some would use it, but we should be able to have the favourites the entry screen should we wish to.

currently only the One supports the favorite channels to be displayed first when starting an activity that supports favorite channels

Samsung LCD HDTV (LN52B750), Scientific Atlanta HD DVR Cable Box (Explorer 8300HD), Panasonic BluRay Player (DMP-BD55), Onkyo Receiver (TX-SR806), XBox 360, Nintendo Wii, SlingCatcher....all with my Harmony 1100 w/ Wireless Extender
Samsung LCD HDTV (LN40B640), Scientific Atlanta HD DVR Cable Box (Explorer 8300HD), Panasonic Blu-Ray Player (DMP-BD60), SlingCatcher, Monoprice HDMI Switch (HDX-501)....all with my Harmony 900 w/ 2 Blasters

Re: FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

right now, my Watch TV activity uses the DVR as the cable box and as a result, the first screen for that activity is the main DVR screen with play, rewind etc etc. Can I make the numbers screen the first screen and if so, how?

Have you a Harmony One, and by numbers screen do you mean the list of favorite channels?
If so, at the "Set up Favorites" page check the box beside "Always display these channels...."

no - I have a 1000 and by numbers screen, I meant the keypad with 0-9 buttons for channel numbers

Re: FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

then nope, you can't change the 'starting page'...

only the One allows the flexibility (at the moment) to start on either the favorite channels page or the 'additional buttons' page (i.e. soft buttons you've customized).

Re: FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

I have been more familiar with this model one... I like it better from a operational standpoint than my 890 with its small buttons.

what bugs me is the extremely limited Number of logos available to program in the channel guide: Fox, FCS, NGC???? How do we get a larger selection to insert in the color. Is Logitech avoiding this?

Where could we find Logos and how do we insert them?

Re: FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

I have been there and found many which I would like to use, however there were NO INSTRUCTIONS to upload the icons to the remote! Am I missing something? Or do I have to import onto my desktop, resize them and only then when I do the search for ICONS in the favorite channels, I should use the "search" for icons instead of the icons provided by Logitech?

does that make sense?

Re: FAVOURITE CHANNELS screen as entry point to Watch TV?

Have you downloaded any of the Icons to your PC via a zip file? Once you have, you click on settings for the Activity you want to add the Favorite Channels, then click on Set up favorite channels, Put in the channel number for the first channel Click in select image, next browse to the folder where you unzipped the icons, select the image you want to use, click on preview image, then select it and update your remote. One thing do not try to do more that 8 or 10 at a time without saving or the software may time out and you will lose your icons you selected for that activity. I tried doing all of them at one time for that activity and it timed out before I could update them to my remote
