Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

They've acknowledged it. It's listed as an outstanding issue in this post:

http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?board.id=general_remotes&thread.id=15152

They've stated that the fix is being tested, and should be released today.

Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

Hi karimleo,

The problem with the H1000 with RF Extender and the lost buttons has been fixed.  A hotfix was applied this morning @ 8:51am.  Please update your H1000 and RF Extender for these changes to take effect on your remote.
Kindest Regards,

Don

Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

Cool. I did update my remote 1000 + extender and it did it.

I don't know if it's the way to do it but I started upgrading the firmware by going in "Downloads" and then I tweaked a little bit my activities button and upgraded the remote and it worked.

Thanks to the logitech team for providing the fix!

Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

Update seems to have fixed the RF extender problem but I think the sticky buttons problem still exists. Still at least the essential extender works. Thanks alot.

Hi Karimleo,

Which issue are you referring to by "sticky buttons"?

On some of my equipment a few commands "stick" For example, I can be scrolling down on my Media Player and it will keep scrolling even if I release the button. This happens randomly with random buttons sometimes but I have not isolated the problem just yet but will keep trying.

Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

I have the same problem with my remote and extender, mostly when using the volume (as its the only button i keep pressed). First nothing happens then it will keep increasing/decreasing the volume for several seconds after the button has been released (sometimes resulting in insanely loud volume... and then the lower volume takes a while to respond).

The wierd thing is that this happens more with some activities then others... With the "Use PS3" activity this happens regularly, sometimes the RF Extender gets stuck so nothing works after a while and i need to unplug and re-plug the power for it to start working again.

At the moment this is the only noticable negative thing with the remote i am experiencing.

Re: Harmony 1000 & RF Extender problems

I am having the same issue.  A customer has 4 series three HD Tivos and 4 1000's.  One of the 1000's is working through an existing ir system and functions perfect.  The other three are working through the extender.  They all function correctly except for the up and down arrow command.  In the guide or now playing list it will randomly move the cursor 2 spots.  I have gone through level 2 support and they can't tell me when this is going to be fixed.  HELP!!!!
