Harmony Remotes - Software/Firmware

Hi - I have a Harmony 1000i

I added a new device - a Blu-ray player, added a new activity and deleted my old dvd activity.

When I updated the remote, all the settings for my DTV and Foxtel activity were deleted!!

I went through and re-set these up but I have a LOT of duplicated buttons on the additional page - these appear to be OLD sequences that no longer exist and when I update the remote, it inserts these random buttons into the additional pages. It even seems to add buttons I have never used.

How do I fix this up?

To remove commands from the remote go to the software, delete the "labels" and set the corresponding commands to the blank space at the top of the list, then re-order the remaining commands, and update the remote.

I have already deleted the labels. But still they are randomly inserted into the activity.

Besides deleting the labels, you also have to go to the next colume to the right and delete the command by clicking on the down arrow and selecting the blank space at the top of the column then you have to move the commands below it up to fill in the blank spaces by using the Up and Down arrows at the far right

Let us know if doing this is causing you difficulty.

OK - I did delete everything on the whole line - set it to blank.

I am getting OLD phantom actions inserted into the activity. Something is screwed with my account i'm sure.

Hi,

I'd recommend to call Logitech, as I remember I've read somewhere there is a known issue for the 1000-series by deleting activities which contained sequences.

I've actually opened a support ticket but thus far they are making the saqme suggestions as people on here.
