Hi there, fairly new to this side of things, so hopefully someone out there can help.

The issue I am having is that my Samsung TV doesn't seem to switch back to "TV" as the input source, after I have tried using either my X-box, or my DVD player. It seems to be stuck on the last input source used (in this case HDMI).

All fuctions appear to be working correctly when used by themselves, and the initial startup macros for using the X-Box and DVD Player seem to be fine, it is switching back which is the main issue.

I am also have some issue from time to time when switching between the X-Box and DVD player (HDMI 2 to HDMI/DVI 1), this can also hang on the last input channel sometimes.

I did have to set the IR speed to "Fast", as my TV was having issues inputting multiple numbers on a channel macro (for example, channel "2" would work fine, channel "24" would only come up as channel "2". I don't if this would be related.

Current equipment and breakdown;

- Samsung PS51D450A2M Plasma TV

- X-Box 360 connected on HDMI 2

- Soniq B100-AU DVD player connected on HDMI/DVI 1

To answer your question, it seems that your Inter-device delay for your TV is not set high enough, you need to increase it.  Go to Devices, Your TV, Settings, Adjust delays.  This delay comes into play if your TV is not going to the right input when switching between Activities.  If the problem is from an all off start, then you need to increase the Power On delay for the TV.

Looks like you hit the nail on the head. This is now switching between the different input channels correctly, and reverting back to TV.
