550 Remote Customizing Additional Buttons.

[ Edited ]

I'm having issues using this function.  My remote for the TV device lists 9 pages yet when I hook up the remote to the TV I don't see 9 pages which I can ammend or delete.

Are you talking about, when you select an Activity that includes the TV that you do not see 9 pages of commands for the TV, or when you put your remote in Device mode, select the TV that you do not see all 9 pages of commands?

Device mode.  I need to scroll through multiple pages to power off the TV.  I would like to map the buttons better but I'm having trouble figuring it out.

I have done this in the past but a long time ago.  I want to change the order of the pages and what is on each page in regards to what is shown on the remote in device mode.

Re: 550 Remote Customizing Additional Buttons.

There is not an easy way of moving commands around in either Activity or Devices.  But what you have to do is either select your Activity or Device in the software, select Customize Buttons, Select Additional Buttons, you will see all of your commands listed by page, the only way to move the commands up from say page 5 to page one is to highlight the command then select the orange up arrow or orange down arrow on the right hand side and continually press it until you get the command to where you want it.  If you only want to move a couple of commands then select the location where you want the command to appear, delete the command that is there and insert the command that you want, you can always add the deleted command to the location where you had the other command before
