Harmony Remotes

Under my "watch movie" activity, I'd like to get the remote to turn my sony bravia tv into theatre mode.  Is it possible to add this on to the end of the activity?

If you are using MyHarmony.com, it is not possibn to add additional commands to the start of your activity

Sure it is. When the activity is finished press the buttons for your additional commands.

But seriously. Logitech removed that capability from the myharmony.com software. It's still in the old 7.7 software, but you'll have to start from scratch if you switch to that. You may want to consider a real universal remote that doesn't have such limitations, like the One-For-All Xsight.

The 7.7 software an Members.harmony are pretty much the same, members.harmony though, is no longer suppoerted by Logitech, and if you use member.harmony, to update your remote, you still need the 7.7 software installed on your PC.  The UI is a little different between the two.

Thanks for the update.  I have 7.7 installed locally, and evidently each action on the members site is updated locally each time the application is opened locally and updates online.  I have an issue that apparently requires additional commands in the macro, and I am under the impression that the members site is the only resource to accomplish this.  I am making progress, although somewhat circuitously.

I have always used the 7.7 software to add additional commands to any of my activities, it is not just limited to the Member.harmony site.

I will look there also.  So far I am getting where I need to be.  Two of the database commands don't work for me, so I have to jury-rig the remote.  Seems to be working.  I will try doing all this under one "roof" as you suggested.

It doesn't matter if you use members or 7.7, they are essentially the same. It's myharmony.com that is incompatible and should be avoided. Members does have a few extra functions like pronto hex import that 7.7 doesn't have.
