has anybody successfully programmed activies for both a new Apple TV *and* a Mac Mini?
i have set up both devices for my Harmony One, and i properly paired the remote unique on each device -- so operating the ATV doesnt trigger events on the Mini, and vice versa (by default they were the same and using the remote on one also controlled the other).
the problem? the Harmony software didnt want to give me any "Watch content..." type of activity for the recently added Apple TV. it only had one action, something like "View Pictures". i used that, because i had to, but its not ideal -- for instance its display icon is of a slideshow and not a TV set. i see its also trying to load Front Row but i guess thats harmless.
anybody have a more elegant experience?
btw is it just me, or does the Harmony software need a major re-vamp? i find it clumsy and ackward...for example trying to move a virtual button from Page 15 to Page 1 makes me wanna shoot myself. wish it was more like Netflix's Queue management tool. very friendly.
thanks!
matt

Matt
I have successfully paired both an ATV2 and MacMini with my Harmony 900. I'm not sure I could repeat it right now, but these appear to be the settings that I have:
My Macmini was set up as "Apple Media Center PC", which I use to control Boxee -- with no problem. "OK" command is sent to the APpple Media Center PC"
My ATV2 is: Apple TV is set to "Front Row"
I seem to remember that one or both was set up as a "Generic Activity" which was pretty important in the solution.
YES, agree that Harmony software needs to be rewritten from the ground up. Current product is too restrictive and clunky.

Can You help me on how you managed to do that ?
My problem is that, when I set the remote on the Macmini or the Apple Tv activities, the remote controls both on the same time, which is realy annoying.
Thanks in advance.

I'm having this same problem. When I try to control only my Apple TV, things begin playing on my Mac Mini (usually iTunes). I can't turn off iTunes or the Apple TV can't receive the streaming content.
I'm sure that I tried pairing the remote for the individual devices within the devices buttons, but I must have done this incorrectly.
Any help would be appreciated. I absolutely love using my Harmony Remote, but it's "dual-control" is driving me nuts. I want the remote to ONLY control the device that is needed in the specific activity.
