When cabinet doors are closed, TV does not power on/off. All other components (DVD, Receiver, AT&T U-verse box) are controled by Harmony 900 remote when doors are closed; System works perfectly when cabinet doors are open.

Hello rmbuehler,
This is most likely due to the assignment of the TV device to the Blaster which is located in the cabinet. You can do two things. Plug in one of the mini-blasters and run the wire out of the cabinet and position the mini-blaster close to the TV. This is my set up, and allows me to control every device from anywhere without having to worry about pointing the remote.
Other option is to assign the TV to the remote control and thus you will need to point the remote towards the TV when attempting to control.
Regards,
DaneHarmony

Thanks! On the second option...
"ssign the TV to the remote control"... can you elaborate on what you needs to be done here?
Thank you!

This would be done on the remote, select the Options Button, go to RF System Settings, go to Device assignment, select your TV and remove the Blaster for controlling it.
