Can't get my Harmony One to work w/ my Bose Lifestyle 38

Has anyone been able to figure out how to set up the Harmony One, so that it operates the Bose Lifestyle 38?

I have already confirmed that the Remote Control is currently set to IR on the Bose setup.  Then I pointed the Bose remote at the bottom of the Harmony One and clicked on "learn" in the Logitech Software, toggled  the power button on the Harmony One - nothing.  I even tried placing the Harmony One in front of the IR sensor on the actual Bose device - still nothing.

I called Bose and they cannot help.  We even sent the Bose in for repair, as we were told by Logitech that it was a problem w/ Bose that the IR was not working.   I cannot call Logitech, as our 90 day support from Logitech has now expired.

Someone suggested setting up the device as an AV38, rather than the Lifestyle 38.  I tried this & still nothing....

Has anyone successfully set up their Harmony One to work w/ their Lifestyle 38, and know what I need to do that I haven't already tried?

Thx!

I have a lifestyle 28 and it works fine with my harmony 1100.  As a long shot you may also want to try that.

Not sure what your suggestion is...what exactly am I trying?

I am not going to switch out the Bose or buy a new Harmony remote.  Already paid $250 for the Harmony One remote.  Any ideas on how to get the Harmony One to recognize and learn the signal from the Bose?

Thx.

My suggestion is thst if you cannot get the bose38 to respond to the Harmony one, it may be a database issues within the logitech enviuronment.  My lifestyle 28 work fine with my harmony remote.  I believe the basic settings are the same  between the 38 and 28  if you try to program it and it works then it is a logitech issue.  Just a thought

You have to change your Bose 38 to be controlled by IR, as the default setup for the Bose to be controlled by RF
