I'm very frustrated with no after sales support. Tried to contact the South African help desk. THE NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST.!!!!!!! NO EMAIL.!!!!!
For a Logitech to be so unprofessional is not acceptable. I paid a lot of money for your device H525 and it is useless to me.
What is dissapointed for me to see is that so many people on the forum have the same problem but not one of Logitech's fat cats will make an effort to rectify the problems.
Why the use of a Harmony browser when a simple explorer browser will do?

This has been known to happen to some customers who live in certain regions (especially South Africa). Due to the structure of the network, it may not be able to route a good connection for the Harmony remote software. You may need to use a proxy server to resolve this. Try this:
Please launch the Harmony software on your computer, but do not login.
1) Right Click on Harmony Icon (blue 'H' icon found in system tray)
2) Click Preferences
3) Check Enable Network Proxy
4) Proxy Host: dsl-cache.saix.net
5) Proxy Port: 8080
6) No Authentication will be required. Click OK.
You should hopefully now be able to launch the Harmony Software successfully now

If you get the message "The proxy host cannot be reached or is incorrect, Check the proxy host setting and try again" it means the Harmony could not access the proxy in your region. There are other proxies that can be found using an internet search engine although I recommend you use the correct settings from your ISP. You may need to contact them to obtain the correct proxy settings. I apologize for this inconvenience as unfortunately this issue is completely out of our control. Let us know what happens.

Thanks. This seem to be working now.
appreciate the quick response and I apologise for my frustrated message and taking my frustration out on Logitech. But one issue I want to stress is the support number for S.A. is not working.

Thanks for the update Hennie,
I do understand how frustrating this issue was for you and I am glad all is now working.
Thanks for the info about our SA support number. I will forward this feedback for investigation.
