I found one pretty cheap and decided to get it for my HTPC. I got it to work kinda ok but I have a couple issues. First off Im using an Antec Black HTPC case with the iMON software.
1. When Im watching a movie or video in WMC and hit Mute it doesnt stay muted. It goes down for a sec then right back to where it was. Anyway to fix this?
2. Anyway to setup a button that will close WMC? I cant figure out a way to do it from the remote. Exit isnt assigned to anything and I cant figure out how to do it.
3. I use MediaBrowser for my movie collection on my HTPC. Anyway to get my harmony to go straight into that?
4. Lastly a big annoying one. For some reason even though I have the remote set to control my HTPC only, it sometimes sends signals to my 360 too. Like when I go to power my HTPC on it turns my 360 on as well or start WMC it starts it on my 360 also. I even deleted the 360 device from the remote and it still does it. All i use my 360 for is gaming.
There may be more issues but Im still messing with it all. Thanks ahead of time for all the help. If theres a really good guide on using a Harmony with an HTPC Id really like to see it.

1 and 2. goto Activities>Your Activity>Customize Buttons>here you can insure the right commands are mapped to the right buttons.
3. Not sure but some other users may be able to help
4. This is because they use the same IR commands this is becoming a common problem here

The exact remote i have is called Harmony for Xbox 360.
Not really. It would be nice to have the option but I use my HTPC for all my movies, music, pictures and stuff.
Another question. I know how to get the remote to control WMC but when WMC isnt running the HTPC doesnt respond to it at all. Id like to set it up to open winamp for my music player. i can map it through iMON to do that but unless WMC is running it wont respond. Can I create another device just for the HTPC itself and not WMC?
