Display problems with my harmony 676

I went to use my harmony 676 remote and the display stopped working.  It is totaly blank but the back light works.  I replaced the batteries and had the same problem.  I also udated the firmware and reloaded the remote but it did not fix the problem.  Any ideas?

Hi rfrey3,

Sorry to hear about the display on your Harmony 676 :smileysad:. And I am also sorry that your first post is not a happy one.

Upgrading the firmware is a good troubleshooting step however I gather the LCD screen is still blank. Since this has already been done, I would suggest you contact Technical Support by clicking here. They may have addtional steps, or can assist moving forward with warranty submission.

To ensure that this process moves quickly, I suggest you include the following:

Harmony Remote login ID :
PID Remote (found under the battery on the remote) :

Name:
Street Address:
City:
State/Province:
Postal / ZIP code:
Phone Number:

I trust that Technical Support will be able to assist you from here :smileyhappy:

Regards,

Mark

Yes, I have the exact same problem. The remote seems to function properly and the back light works, but there is no text in the display anymore. I do not believe it is under warranty anymore. Is there anything left to be done but wait for total failure?
