I know there are incompatibilities with an American extender and european remote
But has anyone tried this combination before? European Remote (UK) Harmony 1000 and Asian RF Extender (China) as I am seeing some on Ebay ;-)
Unfortunately support cannot give me a definite answer.

Hi,
We only have two versions of the RF extender, a North American and a European version. The difference between them is the frequency that they use to communicate with the remote. The frequency are 908.42MHz (North America) and 868.42MHz (Europe). For more information regarding compatibility, please see the following article: 12984.
Regards,
Omar

Thanks for your message
The part number can see is 815-000013 on the RF extender which unfortunately does not exist from that link you provided.
I have a picture of the device where the part number is shown, if there is a way to upload it?

Hi,
You are correct. It's the American version with the detachable power cord.
Thanks,
Omar
