FIOS Cisco CHS 435HDC (PVR) Slow to Respond to Channel Guide Commands Up / Down ~ Tried Everything!

[ Edited ]

So I basically tried everything and I can not get the CiscoCHS 435 HDC to respond quickly to channel changes.  You pressup once and a second later it changes.  if  you press up or down 5 times, then stop you have to wait a second for the screen to catch up.  The current interkey is set to zero, i have also tried 100, 200, 500, 1000, 1500.  Same issue, I can't tell if its getting better or worse.   I guess i am out of warranty so the phone support was a no go.

Any Ideas?  I have a harmony One remote.

Re: FIOS Cisco CHS 435HDC (PVR) Slow to Respond to Channel Guide Commands Up / Down ~ Tried Everythi

I'm having the same issue with 1 device (HiMedia HD900B) and  a brand new Harmony 1000 I was able to get for a steal.

I've had similar issues with device's whereby every darn setting I tried as I see you've done also above (2-3 hours of troubleshooting) just did not change the speed in which the original remote can maneuvre.  Channel changing/Menu Scrolling & Media Server Movie list scrolling especially.  I've spent probably 30+ hours on a few of my Logitech's to work them out and now I would take the time to call Logitech Support directly now, see if they have any tips or tricks.  Not really any help other than I've been there quite a few times and will now call Support first step.

Hi TONYS,

is this only happening on Guide,Direction Up and Down? is this also happening on your original remote?

- you can try to unplug re-plug your cablebox

- if it is only happening on the harmony remote, you can learn the commands from the original remote

Ron
