I want a very simple setup for my tv and cable box with the 200. Can I set it so that the cable box is always on and the tv goes on and off with the power switch? Thanks.

Hi 50sguy, 

You can change the PowerSettings of you Cablebox by going to Devices --> Select the Cablebox --> Change Device Settings --> Select option number # 3 ( The remote doesnt the device turn on or off  ). 

Dont forget to sync after making some adjustments.

Sorry, this doesn't seem to work with the 200 model. After I select the cablebox, the only choices presented are 1) Add or fix a command, and 2) Delete this device, neither of which is helpful to what I want to do.

Go to buttons --> select any device --> highlight the Watch TV button --> click set up --> uncheck the cablebox. 

it will not be turning on the cablebox when you press the Watch TV button.

Thanks, but here's the problem with that idea. I can leave the cable box always on, but then the remote does not change the channels on the cable box...it thinks the cable box is not operating, I guess, and reverts to changing channels on the tv (which I don't want).

I'm beginning to think the model 200 is too simple for what I need. Thanks.

you need to click on the cable/sat button first before changing channels. 

When you press on Watch TV it will be turning on the devices that you selected.
