Harmony 550 through Cordless Precision's IR to control PS3 (COMPATIBILITY??)

I am considering buying this remote, however, I have not found information relating to other Logitech IR products.

 

Regarding the PS3 i have a Logitech Cordless Precision Controller G-X5c11a and wondered since the remote will not work with PS3 directly (except for the Nyko BluWave) will it work through Logitech's Cordless Precision's  IR USB reciever?

the cordless precision does not operate via IR...it operates via RF...so no, you can't use a harmony remote via the cordless precision controllers receiver
