I have a harmony 550. It worked fine until I put all of my comp. in a tv cabinet. Everything worked fine at first but then it got to were it would not not change channels. It will turn the tv and dvr on but will not change channels. there is nothing obsructing the remote from working. I have put new batteries in but didn't help.

Assuming that you have set up Activtiies check at Customise Buttons that the buttons are assigned to the required devices.

If you haven't completed setting up the 550 then do so by setting up Activities and specify for each which device is to change channels, display video, control audio, and so on.
