Harmony Remotes

I've had my Harmony 650 for about a year now and have been very happy with it until a few days ago when it started acting up.  The problem is this: 

When I pick up the remote it will light up and the screen will come on but the screen will be very dull, not nearly as bright as it usually is.  Then when it goes to turn off the screen after I put it down it'll flash it's usual brightness for a moment then turn off.  And the behavior isn't consistent.  Sometimes it does it, sometimes not.  It's been this way for about a week.  One thing I have noticed is that after using the remote for a while (I use this one in my bedroom so it doesn't get used all day but then I'll use it at night) the problem will go away temporarily and it will be normal brightness again.

Is this something I should be concerned with? Is there a fix?  Is my remote's screen going bad after only a year with very good handling and care?

Try doing a Firmware update in Safe Mode.
