Can the numeric keypad control the QAM tuner in the Hauppauge 2250?  Cable Co box channels were 1-99, with the 2250 it 's now 'NNN.NN'. IE.... Discovery was channel 46 (old) now it 208.46(Hauppauge QAM).  The IR that comes with the 2250 uses the "*" as the '.' , the 650 doesn't function the same way.  I've been able to program the device(2250) for a "star' key however that requires going from the keypad to the Device>2250>star and back to the keypad.  The regular star button is just below the '7' key but doesn't function as a '.'

Any ideas on how to get this button to work as a '.'???
