Re: Harmony 650 and Philips 42PFL7403D - inputs not changing.

I've gota 610 that I have had for several years and has worked perfectly with my Philips 42PFL7403D unitl I removed all my devices and put them back in. Now I have the input problem too.  It has to be Logitech's fault because it had worked fine. Only difference is I added my device back with version 7.7 and it was orginally added in 7.5.

Re: Harmony 650 and Philips 42PFL7403D - inputs not changing.

[ Edited ]

I just bought a Harmony 650. I own a a 47pfl7403d- which  I assume is the same TV, but with a 47 inch screen. The inputs from the Harmony are scrambled. If you go to the device mode and select ext. 1 for example, you get HDMI2.

Harmony Remote                        True Result

ext 1                                                 HDMI2

ext 2                                                 HDMI3

ext3                                                  HDMI4 (side)

HDMI1                                            AV1 (ext1)

HDMI2                                            AV2 (ext2)

HDMI3                                           AV3(ext3)

HDMI Side (4)                              HDMI 1

Input Side                                    Input Side

This can be fixed by using the Myharmony.com tool going to device -->inputs --->fix inputs and remapping them correctly.

UPDATE: So I spent the better part of a Saturday trying to make this all work. The most straight forward thing to do is use the above table when you want to create a new activity. In other words, if you want to watch your cable box and it comes in to your TV on HDMI2 you should set the input for the activity to ext 1. The other thing you should do is relable the device commands for your TV. The command that is labeled ext 1 should be relabled HDMI2. Interestingly it appars that the input TV command does nothing. You need to go to the input select command and scroll to TV, just like you would on your original Philips remote.

Of course eventually I suppose they will fix this and we all will have to undo everything we did to correct this error.
