Harmony Remotes

I'm not sure why but my 670 was in safe mode when I went to use it one day.  I looked up how to fix it by upgrading the firmware, but trying those steps hasn't helped because the computer can never connect to the remote in order to upgrade it.

I've left it connected for hours and it still never worked.  I also tried leaving the batteries out for a while but that didn't fix it either.

Any ideas?

Have you tried hooking it up to your PC and doing an Update of bothe the Firmware and the Configurations

Yeah the problem I was having was that I couldn't do the upgrade because it would just never detect the remote when I hooked it up.

I "solved" it by using bootcamp on my Macbook to boot to my XP partition and it worked from there.  So for whatever reason I couldn't do it from Mac OS X but it worked just fine from XP.
