Hi,
I ordered the Harmony 890 so I can use the RF extender to control my gear.
All my equipment is in front of me in the living room. Some partly (but not completely) hidden by a table.
I currently use the Haymony 628 but I really have to point it in a very particular way to send IR signal to all of my equipment.
With the 890, do I have the possibility to turn off the IR and use ONLY the RF signals?
Or do I have to hide everything so it won’t get double signals (IR+RF)?
Or do I completely not understand the way 890 is functioning?
Thanks

The extender itself does send IR signals to your devices when the remote tells it to. But basically by using the "Control devices with..." button you pick whether the signal will come from the remote (direct IR from the remote) or the extender (remote sends RF to the extender -> extender sends IR to the device).
