TV is a Pioneer PDP-5071PU and using a Sony BDP S570 Blu Ray  player. To watch TV, the input setting is 2; to play a DVD, the TV input setting is 6. However, the remote will not change to the correct TV input #. I have to use the original tv remote to change the input. Whatever input I set (using the original tv remote), is where the TV input stays. For example, if I watch a DVD, I set the TV input to 6. If I switch the activity to "watch TV", the TV input does not change to input 2. The same thing happens going from watching TV to watching a DVD. Suggestions needed to correct this. Thanks.

Make sure of a couple of things.

1) Check to make sure that you are showing the correct input for each activity.

2) Check to make sure that you chose the correct way that you're Tv selects the input.

3) Check to see that you've removed all unneeded inputs under the device.This all depends on #2 and how the TV selects the inputs.
