Harmony Remotes

I have a Harmony 900. My set-up includes a Bell Expressvu 9241 HD PVR Satellite receiver and a Marantz SR-5200 Home Theatre receiver. Can I program my remote so that the Volume Up / Volume Down buttons adjust the volume on the SR-5200 regardless of whether I am in Home Theatre or Satelite receiver mode?

Volume button can only be for one device per activity, what i would reccomend would be turn up your 9241 volume up the whole way then you would only need to control the volume for your Marantz

OK. I believe I know how to go into "learn" mode on the Harmony remote for the Satelitte receiver. When there, I could instruct the remote to adjust the volume up/down on the Marantz home theatre but Vol Up and Vol Down are not listed as buttons on the Satelite receiver remote so I'm at a loss.

No, you do not have to learn any commands, in the software, select your Activity that you want to change the device that controls your Volume, select Customize Buttons, go to the Volume buttons, first select the Device that you want assigned to those buttons, then select the proper volume command for each button.

I believe you are saying you want to access the volume for the AV system when you are in the device menu for the PVR? There is no point to be going into the devices menu for the PVR unless it is for a very unused command or you are testing, you shoudl be able to have all the buttons that you need in the activities choices
