Hi All,
I am interested in purchasing a Harmony 900 for my entertainment center.
I have three cabinets spanning 10 feet across with about 2-3 devices in each cabinet.
My question is:
What do I need to purchase to support this configuration?
Thanks,
Dave

Depending on if the cabnits are closed and how close together they are you will need at least another Blaster system and you may need some precision IR cables for the one blaster. You would have a blaster in 2 of the outside cabinetsand use the mini blasters in thoes, depending how close the middle cabinet is to one of thoes you may be able to strech one of the mini basters into the middle one....

I have my components in two cabinets on a south wall and my tv is on a west wall. I have my blaster on a shelf on the (east) wall opposite my cabinets. The cabinets have doors with glass and wire mesh on them. I have no problem controlling any of the components or the tv. The blaster is about 15 feet from the cabinets and is on a 90 degree angle from the tv.
If you don't have solid doors on your cabinets and have somewhere to mount the blaster in line of sight, why not give that a try?
Just to note: the 900 comes with the blaster and two mini blasters.

Thanks Alex,
Here is how the components and cabinents are laid out
Here are the dimensions of my cabinets:
<--- A - 36 " ----> <------ B - 44" ------> <--- C - 36" ---->
Cabinet A is closed (solid doors)
Direct TV
Cabinet B is open
TV
DVD Player
VHS Player
Cabinet C is closed (solid doors)
Home Theatre Receiver
So they are fairly spread apart. So does clarify what I should purchase?
Thanks so much!
Dave

You might be able to get away with just the Harmony 900 kit and an add-on precision IR emitter cable
Cabinet 1 gets the blaster
Cabinet 2 gets the Harmony receiver (it too is a blaster)
Cabinet 3 gets the precision cables
