Hi,
I want to buy a Harmony 900 remote control and have some questions. I'm sure, that I get help here.
Can I use the Harmony 900 without the RF-Controllers? Is there an integrated Infrared-Sender in the Harmony 900?
How many RF-Controllers are included in the Standardpackage?
Thank you for your answers.
Andreas

Yes you can use the remote without the RF Blaster. A main RF Blaster along with 2 mini Blasters are included with the remote, for the mini blasters to work, they must be plugged into the Main Blaster with the 8' cords. You can by additional Blasters from Logitech, for $20.00 that includes the Blaster and the power supply, the Mini Blasters cost $2.00 for a pair. In our beta testing of the 900, we were able to control up to 5 Blasters with one remote, I believe that you can have up to 6 Blasters

We have been tring to get remote (Harmony 900) to work using IR after taking off the blasters (which are a pain). Remote does not control anything after removal of said blasters. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Since you remover the Blasters, did you change the settings on the remote to control your devices vir IR? This is done on the remote by selecting the Options button, then the RF systerms settings, then select each device and tell the remote to control it by IR by removing the Blaster

I continue to be prompted on my Harmony 900 to update the blaster. I do not use the blaster feature. Can I do something to avoid this prompt? I must go throught the steps each time and the remote does not work until the steps are completed.
