Greetings. I apologize if this topic has already been discussed; I found several similar topics but none described my unique situation or offered a solution.
I bought a Harmony One two days ago. I've successfully set it up with all of my hardware components and it works nicely.
Now I'd like to set it up to control Plex but haven't had any success. It won't do anything. Can't navigate menus, start/stop, forward, etc. Nothing. Plex does not respond to ANY input from the Harmony.
Here's what I've done so far:
I set Plex up in the Harmony Remote Software (Add device > Computer > Media Center PC > Plex > Plex Player.)
- I launched Plex on my Mac mini and set Harmony Remote as my input device.
- At the suggestion of a user on the Plex forum, tried setting the input device to standard, reboot my Mac and re-configure Harmony Remote as the input device.
Hardware:
Mac mini server running Lion with latest updates.
Plex client 0.9.5.3
Harmony One with Logitech Harmony Remote Software 7.8.0
Ideally, I would like to set up an activity which will set the correct inputs on my TV and receiver, then launch the Plex app. Then I would have the ability to control all features of Plex and quit Plex.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am now able to use the Harmony to control the basic functions in Plex. Here's what I did:
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Advanced > uncheck "Disable remote control infrared receiver".
