Comcast just installed a new generation Xfinity PX001ANM cable box for me. I have been unable to set it up on my Harmony One remote. The device is apparently not in the data base and the remote (Infinity model XR2, Version R1) will not communicate with the Harmony One. Any suggestions?

Please check for the correct model # of your Cable box. Xfinity PX001ANM seems not to be a correct model number.
You can also call Comcast for the correct model # of your cable box and add it accordingly to your Harmony One account.
Don't forget to resetup your Watch TV activity and update your Harmony Remote.

FYI: That is the correct model number.
This is apparently Comcast's brand new "X1 Platform" cablebox/DVR. From the FCC testing documents it is specifically labelled as: PACE PX001ANM (X1 / PARKER II / C7043384000)
The FCC ID is NQ8PX001ANM. I couldn't find an online manual. It is just starting to be released in a few major markets according to articles about the X1 Platform.

Thanks for the reply. That is indeed the cable box that I have. The User Guide is at
I have achieved some functionality using Harmony One's "Suggested match", but it is far from satisfactory.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? A little birdie told me that these boxes are to be flying off the shelves real soon so here's hoping Logitech has an update for the "One" remote as I too have the new box with the awesome new interface and can"t seem to get them to sync....

Since this Xfinity PX001ANM Cable Box is fairly new, you can add the device as PVR, Pace as Manufacturer, and use RNG210N as the model number. The software will ask you for your original remote, just kindly answer "NO" so that the software will automatically download a similar profile on your account. If some of the commands are not functioning, please learn the commands from the original remote. Click HERE for the instructions how to teach your Harmony remote with the commands from your original remote.

I tried this approach with no success. I found "PVR" under Video devices, but when I entered RGN210N as the model, the program responded that "RGN200N" was the closest match. There was no communication between the remote and the Harmony One when I tried teaching individual commands.

After accepting the closest match of RNG210N, please setup the activity for it ; update the remote and test it.
You may also check if the XFINITY X1 box is setup to be controlled by an IR remote also, since its original remote remote is an RF/IR remote. It might be setup to accept RF signals only.
