Harmony Remotes

Our Harmony One got some rough treatment at the hands of our 16 month old grandson. I don't know if he dropped it on the floor one time too many; if he somehow re-programmed it; or if it just started malfunctioning by coincidence. Bottom line is that I only get two images on the Harmony screen now: a multicolored "christmas light" type display, and an image of the battery charging. None of the buttons will activate anything now. Are these two images on the screen symptomatic of anything in particular that I could try to address?

About the only thing I would suggest is to try an do a Firmware update with your remote in safe mode.  To put the remote in safe mode, remove the battery, then while holding the Off button replace the battery, the LCD screen should say Safe Mode Requested. Do the Firmware update followed by Updating your remote.
