Harmony Remotes

I've had my harmony one remote and PlayStation adapter for about two years. All of a sudden the remote has stopped controlling the PlayStation 3. I tried repairing the adapter to the PlayStation 3, and that seemed to work fine (the green light on the adapter blinked and then went solid green) but the remote still won't control anything for the PlayStation. Any suggestions anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Doug

Try to Re-pair the PS3 adapter to your PS3.

After the pairing, you need to reconfigure the Activity and the Device to your Harmony Acount.

Here are the steps:

- Login to your Harmony 0ne account

- Delete the Playstation 3 under device Tab: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11369/kw/delete%20device

- Add the Playstation 3: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11462/kw/add%20device

- Delete the Play Game Activity under Activity Tab: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11460/kw/Delete%20Activity

- Add the Paly Game Activity: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11630/kw/Add%20activity

- Update the Remote Control and Test

Thanks for your reply Unfortunately, after following all those steps my remote still does not control my PlayStation three. If anyone else has any other ideas I would be very grateful. Thanks Doug

Hi dougmoose66,

After re-pairing your PS3 Adapter with your PS3, I do recommend to turn power cycle your PS3 as well as the PS3 Adapter.  To power cycle your PS3 adapter, you may unplug it from power from about a minute.  You can do so with your PS3.

Thanks very much for the advice. As soon as I power cycled the adapter the Ps3 turned on and the remote worked perfectly again. Thanks again Doug
