I have just solved a problem I had with the activity “watch TV” not turning on my dvd surround sound Amp (LG DA-5620) and thought I would post this to help anyone else experiencing a similar problem. Everything, except the Amp would power up and the help assistant would correct the problem, but I had to use the help assistant each time. I read that this was due to the inter-device delay but increasing it to a really high value and several in between (and the inter key delay) did not solve my problem. I also tried reordering the order in which the activity turned the devices on. I am not sure if the remote fully recognised my device because the learn commands from the original remote would not register. I think (total guess) the activity was sending a power on command when it should have been sending a power toggle command. I went into the advanced settings for my mini, dvd ,cd system( The LG amp) and set it to send two power on signals instead of the single command default and it works fine now. It now powers on and turns off with the activity. My only problem now is finally getting rid of the help assistant forever :-)  I have set it to be off for all the activities, but I have just read I also have to go into remote settings and do it there...
