Harmony replacement policy

Does anyone know Logitech's replacement policy?  I can't seem to find it on their website.  My 670 recently started eating up batteries and they offered me a replacement of a 620 as it is "similar in design and function"  my reply was not acceptable as I purchased a 670 and would only accept a 670 or better replacement.  She offered to "escalate" my request.  I find it very disheartening that I may be receiving a lower model replacement.

Re: Harmony replacement policy

The Harmony 620 is the same remote as the 670 but newer, they both support 15 devices, and they both do the exact same thing. You're not getting an inferior remote. Harmony remotes don't follow a structured model number, you can have a model number like the 670 being released before the 620.

Re: Harmony replacement policy

Hi Monkeypants25,

Sorry to hear that your remote is not working, and for your frustrating experience.

The Harmony 620 was actually released after the 670. I know this doesn't follow logical naming conventions but this is how many Harmony remotes have been released. In fact just recently we released the Harmony 600.

Also, the Harmony 620 is identical to the 670 in every way, except for color. The 620 is black, while the 670 is silver. I hope this clears up any confusion because I wanted to assure you that you were not being offered a lesser model by any means. I trust that Technical Support will be able to provide a similar explanation and get this resolved quickly for you.

Also, if you would like to view the warranty policy it is located here

Regards,

Mark
